| The preserve is located 160 miles east of Portland and 72 miles west of Pendleton near Interstate 84 and the mighty Columbia River. Exit Interstate 84 at Arlington (Exit # 137) and follow Highway 19 south to Olex. It is approximately 17 miles from the freeway to Olex Township. In Olex, you will make a left turn onto Upper Rock Creek Road. Olex Preserve is located five miles from Olex on Upper Rock Creek Road. |
